The module with OLED display is useful in electronics projects where you have a lot of data to display, also offering low power consumption. The space available for display is quite large, offering 128 x 64 points. When the display is fully charged, it consumes only 0.1 W. It also has a diagonal of 0.94 inches and a viewing angle of more than 160o.

The display is based on the SSD1306 integrated circuit.

Minunat

Display-ul este absolut superb, foarte luminos, cu contrast infinit specific OLED-ului, iar la Optimus a fost singurul loc din .ro unde l-am gasit in varianta yellow/blue. Pe banda yellow se pot afisa simboluri sau texte de alerta, ceea ce este foarte util. In cazul meu display-ul s-a incapatanat sa
nu mearga pe I2C pana nu am montat condensatorul de 0.1u si rezistenta de 10k (l-am folosit cu un Arduino Nano). Modificarile sunt totusi simplu de facut, am pus SMD-uri foarte discret pe spate, unde se gasesc pad-uri de masa si de Vcc. alimentarea am lasat-o la 5V. Recomand testarea cu scannerul I2C - daca este totul in regula trebuie sa-l gaseasca la adresa 0x3C. Daca folositi libraria Adafruit_SSD1306.h trebuie de-comentata linia #define SSD1306_128_64, altfel display-ul, va functiona la jumatate din rezolutia verticala (32 linii in loc de 64). Atentie si la sticla display-ului, la fixarea cu clestisori/menghinute sau la montarea in carcasa - sticla este foarte subtire si fragila, crapa la cea mai mica presiune, in special in partea inferioara a ecranului - personal am spart 2 display-uri pana am invatat "sa ma port" cu ele :)

merge si pe i2c

asa cum s-a spus mai sus.se muta rezistenta r3 la r1 ; se lipeste r8 jumper, eu nu am mai pus nici un condensator sau rezistenta.a mers direc la 3.3v. DC si CS la gnd.

Merge si pe i2c!

Pentru a activa i2c-ul in loc de spi(cum este default), trebuie mutata rezistenta R3 la R1, R8 strap(o bucatica de lita subtire), CS si DC la GND iar pe RES un condensator 0.1uF la masa si 10Ko la +Vcc. L-am alimentat la 3,3V si am folosit U8g2lib impreuna cu un esp8266.
A functionat din prima!

super

Afișajul este albastru cu galben (3/4 albastru și 1/4 galben). Se vede super din orice unghi. Conectați-l fără adaptor 5v-3v3, eu am pus adaptor inițial și mergea aiurea era instabil.
