The temperature sensor uses a thermistor to give some output voltage, depending on the change in temperature resistance.

The module can be used to measure the temperature according to the given analog voltage, or it can be used to detect if the temperature exceeds certain threshold temperature.

The module contains an LM393 comparator and its reference voltage can be changed from a potentiometer.

The temperature can be calculated using the Steinhart-Hart equation.
