The Maxbotix LV-MaxSonar-EZ0 sonar module detects objects from 0 to 6.45 m with a resolution of 2.5 cm for distances greater than 15 cm. Unlike other remote sonar modules, LV-MaxSonar has virtually no dead zone: it can also detect small objects in front of the sensor, even if they touch the sensor.
