Overview

The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is one of the most popular and easy to use distance sensors. It is compatible with Arduino, and it has some advantages over the analog distance sensors: it needs only digital I/O pins, it has higher noise immunity and better precision.


Specifications

  • Power supply voltage: 5 VDC
  • Static current consumption: less than 2 mA
  • Sensor beam angle: less than 15o
  • Detection range: 2 cm to 450 cm
  • Resolution: 0.3 cm


Note: Do not plugin the sensor while the circuit is powered. This can lead to damage or slight performance degradation.

Incredibil!

Este intr-adevar incredibil cum acest senzor face treaba chiar mai buna decat unul de 60$ waterproof, etc..

Functioneaza

Functioneaza, are erori de cativa cm la distante mici. Ex: Obiect aflat la 30 cm, imi arata 27. La 75cm arata 70...Usor de utilizat, isi merita banii.

Excelent

Este implementat ca senzor de proximitate pentru iluminatul unei scari de interior si merge fara niciun fel de problema de aproape 4 luni (cu pulsuri la fiecare 100 de milisecunde, impresionant pentru o jucarie asa ieftina).
@Viorel A: cei 2 pini poti fi legati la un singur pin la microcontroller, configurat ca output si input.

testat cu newping si sr04

Merge corespunzator si se pot face si tweak-uri la librarii/cod pentru precizie si filtrare. Este incredibil cum un produs de 2,3$ inlocuieste fara nicio greata unul "original" de 30-60$. Singurul dezavantaj fata de original este ca foloseste 2 pini de date si nu 1.
