This amplifier board uses a TPA6120 chip with a total harmonic distortion(THD) that reaches below 0.001% and can handle low impedance with a high output level. This board is headphone capable.
It includes three key features. It prevents odd order distortion anomalies due to the high slew rate. Output has a current-on-demand feature, which enables the amplifier to respond quickly and linearly without risk of output distortion. When large amounts of output power are suddenly needed, the amplifier can respond extremely quickly without raising the noise floor of the system and degrading the signal-to-noise ratio. The last feature is the gain-independence frequency response that allows the full bandwidth of the amplifier over a wide range of gain settings.
