The battery indicator consists of 5 LEDs that indicate battery level and another 7 LEDs grouped in a band that emphasizes contour of the battery. Connections are made in the image attached.
To function properly, each LED needs a voltage drop of about 1.8 V to 2.2 V and a maximum current of 20 mA (recommended 16 to 18 mA)
This product can be used as the control of a microcontroller or Arduino development project and can be mounted outside of your project and display the battery level.
