Technical specifications:

  • Supply voltage: 2.3 V - 5.5 V (3.3 V recommended);
  • Backup battery voltage: 2.3 V - 5.5 V (3 V recommended);
  • Current consumption: 300 μA;
  • Accuracy: ± 3.5ppm;
  • Also includes temperature sensor;
  • Communicates on the I2C interface at a maximum frequency of 400 kHz;
  • Can memorize: hour, minute, second, day of the week, day of the month, month and year;
  • Two alarms can also be set.

RTC modules are generally useful to memorize date and time, providing backup solutions when the main power supply is cut off. Another advantage is that you do not have to do anything, just communicate with the circuit and read the clock from its registers.

multumit de acest modul!

Face ce trebuie, e ok.
Din ce imi dau seama, bateria (CR1025?) este o banala baterie. Dupa aproximativ 6 luni de utilizare continua, si inca aproximativ 1.5 ani de depozitare bateria nu mai tine!

Cel mai bun RTC!

Acest modul are o precizie, ajustabila software, mai buna de 1 sec/30 zile. Se poate utiliza pentru ORICE placa de dezvoltare (MCU) si daca se face o conexiune, poate folosi si ca generator de intreruperi pentru MCU la ziua/ora/min/sec stabilite. Bateria rezista mai mult de un an (pentru ca nu-l am de mai mult timp sa confirm)

OK!

L-am achizitionat pentru un Raspberry Pi 2. Functioneaza fara probleme. Este mult mai bun decat un DS1307 ca drift. Este si modelul cu baterie, nu ca prostiile care au aparut in ultimul timp cu "super-condensator", si care de fapt functioneaza cateva ore/zile.
Modelul primit este DS3231 SN, nu DS 3231 M, conform poza, insa nu ma deranjeaza deloc, ci din contra :)
Nota: pe ultimele versiuni de Raspbian nu trebuie decat editat fisierul /boot/config.txt si adaugate liniile:
dtparam=i2c_arm=on
dtoverlay=i2c-rtc,ds3231

Nu mai trebuie nimic altceva.
