16 Channel I2C PWM Motor Driver Module

Description and Specifications

This motor driver (or LEDs) has 16 channels with PWM. Up to 62 modules of this type can be connected to obtain no less than 992 PWM outputs.

• It has I2C interface and internal clock, so it can work without having to send signals from the microcontroller
• Compatible with 5V voltage level
• 6-pin I2C address selection for connecting multiple modules on the same interface
• Adjustable PWM frequency (maximum 1.6KHz)
• 12-bit resolution for each output (for servomotors - 4us at 60Hz)
• Push-pull or open-drain output
• Pin for activation / deactivation - quick control of all outputs
• Reverse polarization protection
• Green LED for power indication
• 220ohm resistors on all outputs for easy LED control
