Description

The BQ25570 is a highly integrated energy harvesting nanopower management solution that is ideally suited to meet the specific needs of ultra low power applications. This product is designed to efficiently acquire and manage microwatt (μW) to milliwatt (mW) levels of power generated from a variety of different DC sources such as photovoltaic (solar), thermoelectric generators, and piezoelectric modules.

The BQ25570 is the first such device to implement a high-efficiency boost charger with a nanopower buck converter for products and systems where power and operation are critical for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). What's great about this is that the boost converter can be started up to VIN as low as 330mV, and once activated, can continuously acquire energy at VIN as low as 100mV.

The BQ25570 is also designed to be flexible to support a wide range of energy storage components.
