Overview

This optical fingerprint sensor can capture and compare fingerprints. It is a system used in conjunction with a matching system to enable efficient authentication for secure spaces and devices.

You can create a project module with optical sensor to read the fingerprint, thus adding a new level of security your project. The modules are used for safes usually with a powerful DSP chip that makes image reading, calculations, and searching. It connects the microprocessor or TTL communication system and sends data packets to take pictures, detect prints, hash and searches. It can store up to 162 fingerprints with embedded Flash memory.
