SparkFun IMU Breakout - MPU-9250

Description

Each of these 9DoF modules has an MPU-9250 with a packet system (SiP) that combines two chips: MPU-6500, which contains a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer and AK8963 containing a 3-magnetometer axis.

To obtain its small size, the MPU-9250 has PTH pins that have been wrapped around the PCB in three rows three or four times. The upper row (J1) includes the I2C interface and the power interface. The second most likely set of PTH pins is found along the third row (J3). This includes address pin, interrupt pin, and IO power supply for an interface with a modern 1.8V processor. 

The other row (J2) is used for features like the use of other I2C devices as slaves for it.

The MPU-9250 replaces the popular EOL MPU-9150 and reduces power consumption by 44%. The MPU-9250 uses 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) to digitize all nine axes, making it a very stable 9-degree plate.
