Power Dock for Onion Omega

The above picture shows the power dock for Onion Omega2 / Omega2 +. This is an expansion board that offers the possibility of using LiPo batteries to safely feed the Omega Development Plate. In addition to the 3.3V step-down switching source, the card also contains a LiPo battery charging circuit. 

Also, the dock allows the 5V board to be powered by the internal regulator that lowers the voltage to 3.3V. The logic level of the pins is 3.3V and does not tolerate 5V.

• Expansion header for easy access to pins

• USB connector that connects to the Onion Omega USB bus

• LEDs indicating the battery level

USB external memory

The expansion board allows external memory storage to be connected to the USB port for extra storage. The operating system is Linux-based, so the default installation location for the file system is in / tmp / mounts.

This expansion dock is compatible with all Onion expansion boards for Omega2 / Omega2 + and offers a very high degree of modularity and can connect multiple plates in a stack.
